Recently I’ve been out riding alot on my 11m Flexifoil Hadlow pro, which I might add is the dogs gonads. On monday James Thorne and Fred Boelen aka Garlic came up for a session in Portland harbour. After waking up we decided to go for a quick landboarding session while the tide was high and the water choppy, where we met Marcus Gay already having a sweet session on his 10. It was gusting up to about 23knts in the harbour so it was pretty breezy in the updraft of the cliff. Here’s some photo’s that Fred took up at Bowlease. It was hangTIME!

 

After finishing up landboarding we headed over to Vanworx so that James could check out some of the pimping they do ready to kit out his new T5 van.

We topped off the afternoon with a maxed session where we all rode 11’s. Because the wind was SE the harbour wasn’t its usual self and was choppy, ergh. Hunting for the perfect session we headed to the harbour walls. It did take about 20-30 mins of hard upwind riding on twin tips but oh was it worth it. A good 4k from the beach, kiting alongside a naval ship and up against the wall in the glassy flat water, amazing. Need I say more?
